Configuring internal search operations

You can configure several InfoSphere® MDM internal search operations that control the way party searches are completed.

Procedure

  • To configure the type of names, identifiers, and addresses that are returned as part of the summary details for searchOrganizationProbabilistic, use the following configuration items:
    • /IBM/Party/Search/ReturnValue/organizationIdentificationType
    • /IBM/Party/Search/ReturnValue/organizationNameUsageType
    • /IBM/Party/Search/ReturnValue/organizationAddressUsageType
  • To configure the type of names, identifiers, and addresses that are returned as part of the summary details for searchPersonProbabilistic, use the following configuration items:
    • /IBM/Party/Search/ReturnValue/personIdentificationType
    • /IBM/Party/Search/ReturnValue/personNameUsageType
    • /IBM/Party/Search/ReturnValue/personAddressUsageType

Results

For more information about these configuration items, see Elements in the Configuration and Management component.

Note: If the configured return usage type is not available for a particular party, then the first available value returned by the database will be returned in the summary details. In this case, the returned values depend on the order of values returned by the database.
