Publishing device supported project

Publish the project with device support on the WebSphere Portal by using the mobile browser simulator.

Before you begin

Download and install the mobile theme for IBM WebSphere Portal, version 7.0 from the IBM catalog.
Install the mobile theme on IBM WebSphere Portal, version 8.0 from the WebSphere Portal family wiki.

About this task

Procedure

In the Enterprise Explorer view, right-click your mobile portlet project and select Run As > Run on Mobile Browser Simulator. The Run on Server dialog opens.
In the Run on Server wizard, verify that the Choose an existing server radio button is enabled.
Select a server from the list of servers and then click Finish.

Note: After publishing the project on mobile browser, if you want to view the project with default portal theme, then you have to first remove the project from the server before republishing it on the server.
