Planning services

By default in IBM Watson Care Manager, you can view and manage services on the plan. You can plan services and associate them with goals on the plan.

Services
Services are care plan activities that can help a client achieve a goal. In addition to the standard workflow for planning services, optional add-on components give IBM Watson Care Manager the capability to support enhanced workflows for services and providers.
Adding services
You can add services to the plan. You can choose a suggested service, or search the library of existing services.
Filtering the services list view
You can review the list of services assigned to a client. The list can include open and closed services.
Modifying services
You can edit the start and expected end dates for the service and the frequency of the service. You can edit the units in which the service is delivered and number of units the client needs.
Associating services with goals
You can associate services with one or more goals on a plan by adding goals to the service. Goals must be open and not previously associated with the service.
Removing associated services from goals
You can remove the association of a service with a goal. The service is not removed from the care plan, but is no longer associated with the goal.
Closing services on plans
You can close services when clients finish or no longer need them. You must specify the outcome of the service, and the date that the service is closing.
Updating closed services
After a service is closed, you can update the closure details if needed, for example, if the service was provided for longer than was originally recorded. You can view a history of changes to closed services on the Service homepage.
Deleting services from plans
You can delete services from plans.
