Variable values and variable labels in dialog lists

You can display either variable values or variable labels in dialog lists and you can control the sort order of variables in source variable lists. To control the default display attributes of variables in source lists, use the Show labels control .

You can also change the variable list display attributes within dialogs. Select the sort and display options from the variable list ellipsis menu.

You can display either variable values or variable labels (values are displayed for any variables without defined labels), and you can sort the source list by file order, alphabetical order, or measurement level.
