Count of number of blocks defined by a BAM is invalid - map function terminated

Explanation

The count of the number of blocks defined by the BAM contained in the header is either zero or greater than 2038.

System action

The map function stops.

Programmer response

Make sure that your database was pre-formatted by the RACF® Database Initialization Utility (IRRMIN00). Also, ensure that SYSRACF DD statement points to the database you want to use.
