Users with the Developer
role can start and stop agent and integration servers manually or can schedule the servers to
start or stop at a prescribed time. You can also trigger the agent servers criteria.
Procedure
To run a process for your server, complete the following steps.

Access Self Service with your
IBMid.

From the Self Service menu, select
Environments.
- Select an environment.
- In the Server configuration tab, click Server
processes.
- Run any of the following processes for the servers:

Description |
| Start servers |
Starts the selected servers. You can select the Enable verboseGC
output checkbox for diagnosing issues, if any. You can use this data for troubleshooting
memory and performance problems.

| Stop servers |
Stops the selected servers. For more information, see Stopping servers on the next-generation platform.

| Restart servers |
Restarts all running instances of the selected servers. To restart servers for Development and QA environments, see
Serviceability enhancements for stability and optimized resource usage.

| Trigger agent server |
Triggers the agent server criteria. Enter the Agent criteria ID and
then click Submit. All the agent servers that match the criteria ID are
triggered. |
| Schedule servers |
Starts and stops agent or integration servers or triggers agent server at the scheduled
time. For starting the servers, you can select the Enable verboseGC output
checkbox for diagnosing issues, if any. You can use this data for troubleshooting memory and
performance problems.
