Resizing tab groups and views

When you resize a tab group, the views in the tab group are automatically resized as well.

About this task

This task demonstrates how to change the size of a tab group in the current perspective:

Procedure

  1. Position your mouse cursor over the inside edge of the tab group. The cursor changes to the size cursor, a double-ended arrow.
  2. Left-click and hold the mouse.
  3. Using the mouse, drag the edge of the tab group until it is the size you want.
  4. Release the mouse.

Results

The tab group has been resized. Note that by resizing one of the tab groups, the others also change size to accommodate all views in the workbench.

You can resize the workbench by positioning your mouse cursor over the outside edge of the tab group and following the previous steps. The tab groups are resized equally to fit in the resized workbench.
