Running the delete schema script automatically

You can use the WebSphere® Application Server administrative console to run the delete schema script automatically.

Before you begin

Attention: Running the delete schema script erases all the data associated with a model.
Before you begin this task, you must log on to the WebSphere Application Server administrative console.

About this task

If you are using DB2® for z/OS® as your database, you cannot run the delete schema script automatically from the WebSphere Application Server administrative console. For z/OS, this script must be exported and run manually.

To run the delete schema script automatically, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. In the WebSphere Application Server administrative console, click Applications > Monitor Models
  2. Click the version of the model you want to manage.
  3. Click Manage Schema
  4. Click Run Delete Schema Script.
