What's new in IBM MQ 9.0.4
IBM® MQ 9.0.4 delivers a number of new and enhanced features on AIX®, Linux®, Windows, and z/OS®.
The individual features provided by a CD release are stand-alone functions but may increase in capability in subsequent CD releases, enhancing earlier CD features and forming a suite of related capabilities.
Additional platform support for Continuous Delivery
Support for AIX is added for Continuous Delivery from IBM MQ 9.0.4.
New IBM MQ for Multiplatforms features
The following new features are available with both IBM MQ base product entitlement, and with IBM MQ Advanced entitlement:
- Enhancements for the administrative REST API
- New commands for configuring the mqweb server
- The messaging REST API
- Local OS authentication for IBM MQ Console and administrative REST API
- Changes to the dspmqweb command
- migmqlog command
- Monitoring of IBM MQ for AIX queue managers through IBM Cloud Product Insights
- Support for HTTP proxy access for queue managers that connect to IBM Cloud Product Insights (no longer available. See Service Deprecation: IBM Cloud® Product Insights)
- Support for creating event messages for Salesforce platform events
