Registering Liberty servers with the usage metering service in WebSphere Automation
You can register your on-premises or cloud-based Liberty servers with the usage metering service in WebSphere® Automation. When you register servers, you also enable them for security monitoring.
You can enable your servers for other monitoring, such as health monitoring. However, you must first register the servers and enable them for security monitoring. For more information, see Setting up WebSphere Automation.
Stabilized feature: The usage metering feature
is stabilized. It is used with WebSphere Automation and was
previously used with the now removed metering service in IBM Cloud® Private. As an alternative, you can use the
MicroProfile metrics feature. For more information about available metrics, see Monitoring with MicroProfile metrics.
