Edited fields become blank if you do not change the focus from the fields before you change pages when you use Internet Explorer 9 and IBM Forms

When you use IBM® Case Manager V5.2.0 Fix Pack 1 with Microsoft Internet Explorer V9 and IBM Forms, a limitation exists that affects edited fields.

An edited field becomes blank in the following situation:
  1. You use the create or open action to open a new page that uses IBM Forms for a case or work item.
  2. You set focus on a field and you edit the value of that field.
  3. You switch to another page without first exiting the newly edited field.
  4. You switch back to the form page.

This problem occurs only with Internet Explorer V9 and IBM Forms. This behavior is not observed with other browsers or with IBM FileNet® eForms for P8.

To work around this issue, tab out of the edited field before you switch to another page. Alternately, use a different browser than Internet Explorer version 9.
