Global (GBL) parameters

The global parameters are explained in this chapter.

GBL_DSN_ACF2_MACLIB
This parameter contains the name of an ACF2 macro library.
GBL_DSN_CBC_SCCNOBJ
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the XL C Compiler object library
GBL_DSN_CBC_SCLBSID
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the XL C/C++ side-deck library.
GBL_DSN_CEE_SCEEBIND
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the location of the LE/370 C XPLINK resident routines.
GBL_DSN_CEE_SCEEBND2
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the location of the LE/370 C XPLINK LP64 library.
GBL_DSN_CEE_SCEECPP
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the LE/370 C++ class library.
GBL_DSN_CEE_SCEELIB
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the LE/370 C side-deck library.
GBL_DSN_CEE_SCEELKED
This parameter contains the name of the LE/370 C link-edit library.
GBL_DSN_CEE_SCEELKEX
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the location of the LE/370 C non-XPLINK long names.
GBL_DSN_CEE_SCEEMSGP
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the library containing the LE/370 C prelinker messages.
GBL_DSN_CEE_SCEERUN
This parameter contains the name of the LE/370 C Runtime Library.
GBL_DSN_CEE_SCEESPC
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the LE/370 system programmer’s C facility.
GBL_DSN_CICS_CTG_DLL
This parameter is the name of the CICS TG Dynamic Link Library.
GBL_DSN_CICS_SCTGSID
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the CICS TG side-deck library.
GBL_DSN_CICS_SDFHC370
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the CICS load libraries for C support.
GBL_DSN_CICS_SDFHLOAD
This parameter contains the name of the CICS load libraries.
GBL_DSN_CSF_SCSFMOD0
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the ICSF load library that contains the CSNB* modules used for password encryption (if ICSF is installed and configured on the z/OS system).
GBL_DSN_DB2_DSNEXIT
This parameter contains the name of the Db2 exit library.
GBL_DSN_DB2_LOADLIB_Vn
This parameter contains the name of the load library for the version of Db2 your site is running.
GBL_DSN_DB2_RUNLIB_Vn
This parameter contains the name of the run library for the version of Db2 your site is running.
GBL_DSN_DB2_SDSNLOAD
This parameter contains the name of the Db2 load library.
GBL_DSN_GLOBAL_SOURCE_LIB
This provides flexibility in accommodating a common dataset that PARMGEN allocates to house globals from products that support these data members.
GBL_DSN_HZSPROC_LOADLIB
This parameter contains the name of a load library that is usable by the IBM Health Checker for z/OS started task HZSPROC for assembling and linking health check modules.
GBL_DSN_IMS_RESLIB
The IMS SDFSRESL library.
GBL_DSN_IMS_SCEXLINK
This parameter contains the name of the IMS Connect product load library.
GBL_DSN_IMS_SFUNLINK
This parameter contains the name of the IMS Connect functional load library.
GBL_DSN_ISP_SISPLOAD
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the library that contains ISPLINK (SISPLOAD for ISPF Version 4 and higher, or ISPLOAD for ISPF version 3 and below).
GBL_DSN_NETVIEW_CNMLINK
This parameter contains the name of the IBM Z® NetView CNMLINK load library, required for NetView authorization of Take Action commands.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_BRODCAST
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the TSO broadcast data set name.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_CSSLIB
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the z/OS UNIX System Services library.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_HSMLOGY
This parameter contains the name of the HSM LOGY dataset.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_LINKLIB
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the SYSLIB link library.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_MACLIB
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of a system macro library for installed components and products.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_MODGEN
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the System Macro Library.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_PARMLIB
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the system parameter library for installed components and products.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_PROCLIB
This parameter contains the name of the system library that is to contain the started tasks and procedures.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_SAXREXEC
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the system library where the Health Checker REXX code is stored.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_SBLSCLI0
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the system library that contains interactive problem control system (IPCS) CLISTs and REXX execs.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_SBPXEXEC
This parameter is the z/OS UNIX System Services CLIST/EXEC library name.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_SISTMAC1
This parameter contains the name of the system library that contains the VTAM® macros.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_VTAMLIB
This parameter contains the name of the system library that contains the VTAM logmode tables.
GBL_DSN_SYS1_VTAMLST
This parameter contains the name of the system VTAMLST library.
GBL_DSN_TCP_ETC_SERVICES
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the TCP/IP network services.
GBL_DSN_TCP_SEZACMTX
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the TCP/IP load libraries.
GBL_DSN_TCP_SEZARNT1
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the TCP/IP Reentrant Object Module Library.
GBL_DSN_TCP_SEZATCP
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the name of the TCP/IP executable libraries.
GBL_DSN_TCP_SYSTCPD_TCPDATA
This parameter contains the name of the system library to use in obtaining the parameters defined by TCPIP.DATA when no GLOBALTCPIPDATA statement is configured.
GBL_DSN_TCP_SYSTCPD_TCPDATA_MFN
This parameter contains the name of the TCP/IP data file.
GBL_DSN_WMQ_SCSQANLE
This parameter contains the name of the IBM WebSphere MQ language library.
GBL_DSN_WMQ_SCSQAUTH
This parameter contains the name of the IBM WebSphere MQ authorized load library.
GBL_DSN_WMQ_SCSQLOAD
This parameter contains the name of the WebSphere MQ load library.
GBL_HFS_JAVA_DIRn
This parameter contains the name of the Java home directory.
GBL_INST_HILEV
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the high-level qualifier (shilev) of the installation libraries (INSTJOBS, INSTDATA, and so on).
GBL_TARGET_HILEV
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the high-level qualifier (thilev) of the target libraries that were installed by SMP/E (for example, TKANDATV and TKANMOD).
GBL_USER_JCL
This PARMGEN-only parameter contains the user JCL library where the KCIJPCFG PARMGEN configuration job is to be customized.
GBL_USS_TKANJAR_PATH
The path of the z/OS UNIX System Services directory that the SMP/E installation jobs define using the ddname TKANJAR.
