Common parameters

Common parameters are those used for setting and storing configuration values for the runtime environments (RTEs) in which the IBM® OMEGAMON® XE monitoring agents are configured (RTE, GBL) and for the common components of IBM Tivoli® Management Services on z/OS®, such as the Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server (KDS) and the Tivoli Enhanced 3270 user interface (KOB). Common parameters also include common agent parameters (KAG and KPP). Common agent parameters are those parameters that are common to agents that can be configured stand-alone in an RTE without a Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server.
