Starting and stopping Agent Controller on workstations

On non-Windows workstation operating systems, the Agent Controller process (ACServer ) does not start automatically. You must start it yourself.
  • To start the Agent Controller process, change to the bin directory of the installation location (for example, /opt/IBM/SDP/AgentController/bin) and run ./RAStart.sh.
  • To stop the Agent Controller process, change to the bin directory of the installation location (for example, /opt/IBM/SDP/AgentController/bin) and run ./RAStop.sh.
For more information about this topic, see the file geting _started.html, which is in the Agent Controller installation directory.

On Windows platforms, the Agent Controller process also does not start automatically. On Windows platforms, you can choose to start Rational® Agent Controller as either an application or as a service. Instructions for starting Rational Agent Controller are available in the Getting Started Guide at <Rational Agent Controller installation directory>\getting _started.html.
