Starting
IBM UrbanCode Deploy
Both UNIX and Windows installations require the
IBM® UrbanCode™ Deploy
server and at least one agent. If you are using a database other than Derby, make sure that the appropriate driver is installed and configured.
Starting and stopping the server
To run the server, run the batch file or shell script for the server.
Starting the blueprint designer, cloud discovery service, and engine
To start the blueprint designer and its associated services, you must start the cloud discovery service, the blueprint design server, and the engine Heat services.

To stop the blueprint designer and its associated services, you must stop the cloud discovery service, the blueprint design server, and the engine Heat services.
Starting agents
To start an agent, run the shell script or batch file.
Starting agent relays
To start an agent relay, run its batch file or shell script.
Accessing IBM UrbanCode Deploy
You can access the server and the blueprint designer with a web browser.
