Investigate problems that occurred in the recent past by using the OMEGAMON Enhanced 3270 user interface
Near-term history provides the capability to investigate problems that occurred in the recent past. Select a resource displayed in the enhanced 3270 user interface and enter the historical navigation character (H) for the selected row. A historical summary workspace is displayed, showing a row of data for each 5 minute interval for the selected resource. Discover when a problem occurred and the symptoms that led up to the problem. Select a time period and navigate to a historical snapshot workspace to see more details for that time period. Continue to navigate through the historical data, viewing different time periods and additional resources that may be involved.
