VTAM Applications workspace

The VTAM Applications workspace displays data for all VTAM applications.

To display this workspace, click the Applications Navigator item that is under the VTAM Navigator item.

This workspace displays the following views:

• Applications Not in Active State: Displays a table showing the VTAM applications with a current state other than Active.
• Applications Not Ready for CINIT: Displays a table showing the VTAM applications that are not ready for CINIT.
• ABENDing, Quiescing, Closing, or Sessions Queued: Displays a bar chart showing the VTAM applications that are:
  • Blue represents ABENDing.
  • Yellow represents Quiescing.
  • Pink represents Closing.
  • Green represents Sessions Queued.
• Pending Active Sessions > 0: Displays a bar chart showing the number of VTAM sessions:
  • Blue represents the number of VTAM sessions that are pending active.
  • Yellow represents the number of VTAM sessions that are active.
• Waiting for Responses: Displays a bar chart showing the number of VTAM sessions waiting for responses:
  • Blue represents the number of VTAM sessions that are waiting for a pacing response.
  • Yellow represents the number of VTAM sessions that are waiting for an inbound response.
• VTAM Applications Summary table: Displays performance and configuration information about a VTAM application and the associated VTAM sessions. To navigate to the VTAM Sessions for Application workspace in context of the selected VTAM application, click the Link icon in this workspace.
