SPCABLE

The service processor cables might be failing.

To determine the location of the service processor cables, complete the following steps:

  1. Is a location code available in the serviceable event view for this failing item?
    • Yes: The location code in the serviceable event view is the location of the service processor. Continue with the next step.
    • No: The location of the service processor could not be determined. Continue with the next step.
  2. Use the following table to determine the location of the service processor cables to replace. If the location of the service processor was identified in step 1, replace only the service processor cables associated with that service processor. Otherwise, replace the service processor cables associated with both service processors. Use the management console to replace the service processor cables. If no service processor cable exists at the port location that is identified, continue with the port location of the next service processor cable.
