The IBM suite of managed mobility services can include:
Device enrollment, provisioning and management
The core foundation service, IBM® MaaS360® Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM), supports products including IBM Maas360 with Watson™, InTune, AirWatch, MobileIron and JAMF Pro. IBM can provision and manage device platforms on Windows, iOS, MacOS, Android and Chrome operating systems. From a single management system, IBM can enroll, dynamically provision, protect, configure and manage user access for all devices.
Support for all user devices
Provision, manage and support all your phones, tablets and Mac, Windows and ruggedized devices. Shift from capex to opex with subscription-based services from IBM that are built around devices, usage and service options, offering you predictability, flexibility and cost-effectiveness no matter which paths your employees take.
Containerization for protected access and lower risk
Containerization protects corporate apps and data by segregating them into separate environments on each device. Your company security policies are applied to the work-segregated perimeter, requiring a corporate-strength password to access. Work data can’t be copied to the personal side of the device and work email cannot be forwarded using a personal email account. When necessary, the work container can be remotely wiped while leaving personal data intact.
Enterprise app store for all apps on every platform
Set up and manage a corporate app store that allows you to host both enterprise and public apps for all platforms in a single location. Recommend or block specific apps based on policies, user roles and group permissions. Push out apps and updates to all employees. Track app installation, usage, data storage and more, and quickly remove apps if an employee changes job or leaves the company.
Enterprise gateway for secure browsing
If you don’t require the advanced security of containerization, an enterprise gateway accessible through a single browser is available. You can extend this option further by restricting access from an employee device based on their particular role, group membership or unique requirements. Data going to and from the device is encrypted. Enable device lockout when a device is out of compliance with your security policy.
Protected browsing and containerization for mobile devices
Provide users secure access to content through your enterprise gateway from their mobile devices. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest on the device. Browser access is enabled by managing access from devices based on an employee’s persona or group membership. Access to content can be revoked when devices are not compliant to policy. You can extend this option further by restricting access from an employee device based on their particular role, group membership or unique requirements.
End-to-end device lifecycle support
Managed Mobility Services provides full device lifecycle support—from allowing users to choose their new device to enrollment, provisioning, security, management and finally recycling or disposing of the device. The service is configurable, allowing you to select the components you need and integrate with the components you intend to keep in-house.
Data backup and file sharing through security-rich cloud
Back up and protect user data against loss, theft and ransom. Control the data with the ability the remotely wipe data from a lost or stolen device. Manage compliance for audits, legal holds and regulatory compliance. Use file sharing solutions to collaborate with others—protect, edit and share files between all your devices.
Windows 10 migration
Let IBM guide you through the migration to Windows 10. Starting with an assessment of the current environment, IBM can help design a plan aligned to your objectives, build your Windows 10 environment, assess and remediate your application portfolio, design and execute a data migration plan, schedule the upgrade roll-out and provide user support before, during and after the roll-out.
