Replacing the safety cover in an 8408-44E or 8408-E8E system

Use this procedure to replace the safety cover in an 8408-44E or 8408-E8E system.

1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap attached. If not, attach it now.
2. Push the safety cover (A) toward the chassis.
3. Tighten the thumbscrew (B) by turning it in the direction shown in Figure 1 to fix the safety cover to the chassis.
