Use this overview as a guide to the tasks required for installing the 5888 PCI Express (PCIe) storage enclosure (EXP30 Ultra SSD I/O Drawer) into a rack and cabling it to a server.

Locate the inventory list for your disk drive
enclosure, and verify that you received all of the parts that you
ordered. Each order contains, at a minimum, the following items:

| Verify that you have a rack. | You must have a rack installed. If you do not have a rack installed, see Installing the rack. |
