基盤モデルのライフサイクル
お客様が最新の優れた基盤モデルを発見し、ご利用いただけるよう、 IBM がマルチテナントハードウェア上に展開し、 watsonx.ai で即座に利用可能な基盤モデルは定期的に更新されます。
IBM によって構築されたファウンデーション・モデルは、継続的に更新および改善されています。 IBM ファウンデーション・モデルの新規バージョンが導入されると、更新されたモデルが導入されてから少なくとも 90 日間、古いバージョンを使用できるようになります。
同様に、サードパーティのプロバイダーから、より新しく、より効果的なモデルが入手できるようになると、古いモデルは watsonx.ai から削除される。 サードパーティプロバイダの基盤モデル watsonx.ai から削除される前に、少なくとも30日前に通知されます。
廃止し、マルチテナント・ハードウェアからのプロンプトが利用できなくなった一部の基盤モデル、オンデマンドで展開するか、カスタム基盤モデルプロビジョニングすることができる。 詳しくは オンデマンド基盤モデル展開 と カスタム基盤モデル展開 を参照のこと。
IBM ファウンデーション・モデルに対する変更
IBM 基盤モデル、 基盤モデル性能や安全性を向上させるために、 によって定期的に修正される。 IBM 修正とは、新しい機能や修正を含む可能性のあるモデルのリフレッシュですが、 IBM のバージョン更新を保証する基準を満たさないものです。
ファウンデーション・モデルの変更によって watsonx.ai サービスが中断されることはありません。 IBM 基盤モデル現在のフルバージョン番号は、モデルカードからいつでも確認できます。 バージョン番号は3桁の数字で構成され、 IBM 基盤モデルモデルに関連するバージョン、修正、および修正番号を識別します。 バージョン管理の詳細については、 IBM ソフトウェア製品のバージョン管理について説明をご覧ください。
変更された IBM 基盤モデル推論するすべてのアプリケーションは、パフォーマンスやモデルによって生成される出力の変更を含め、変更をピックアップします。
ファウンデーション・モデルの非推奨化
非推奨期間中、非推奨基盤モデル推論を継続することができます。 しかし、モデルが非推奨となり、新しいバージョンが利用可能であることを通知するために、 基盤モデルが出力されたメッセージが返されます。
非推奨の基盤モデルも制限することができます。 非推奨のモデルが 圧縮状態になっている場合、そのモデルは推論できるが、調整、トレーニング、またはデプロイはできないことを意味します。
基盤モデルが廃止された場合、次の手順でその旨をお知らせします
- 基盤モデルモデルは、製品のユーザーインターフェイスで警告アイコン
で強調表示されます。 ツールチップに、非推奨モデルの営業活動終了が予定されていることが示されています。 - 非推奨については、製品資料の 新機能 のトピックで発表されています。 リリースノートには、 基盤モデル廃止日と撤廃日が明確に記載されています。
- The 非推奨の基盤モデル table is updated to show the foundation model that is being deprecated, the dates of deprecation and withdrawal, and a suitable alternative foundation model for you to consider as a replacement.
