Installation of CC CAT

This section contains an overview over the required chapters for installation of CC CAT.

You will need the following components from the SMP/E installation:

1. FMID HKMG31C with the ZFS folder, typically at /usr/lpp/IBM/uko/V3R1/cc
2. FMID HKMG31A with the SKMGMOD0 dataset and the ZFS folder, typically at /usr/lpp/IBM/uko/v3r1/cccat

Make sure you have all required prerequisites in place as specified in the Program requirements. You need

• Java in the right version
• WebSphere Liberty in the right version
• a PostgreSQL database
• an instance of Apache Kafka and ZooKeeper on z/OS, refer to Setting up Apache Kafka for IBM Z
• Z Open Automation Utilities (ZOAU)

Ensure that you followed the Network configuration to reserve ports for the Liberty server.
