Configure Google Workspace Data
About this task
Once your organization has a subscription of IBM® Storage Protect for Cloud Google Workspace, the administrator must complete the preparations before the organization’s users can access theIBM Storage Protect for Cloud Recovery Portal to recover backup data. For details, refer to the Get Started section in the IBM Storage Protect for Cloud Google Workspace user guide.
Note the following:
- To access the IBM Storage Protect for Cloud Recovery Portal, Google users must be invited into IBM Storage Protect for Cloud with at least the Standard user permission to the IBM Storage Protect for Cloud Recovery Portal (for Google Workspace) portal. For more details on inviting users, refer to the Add Users section in the IBM Storage Protect for Cloud user guide.
- If you want to set trusted IP addresses to only allow users to access IBM Storage Protect for Cloud Recovery Portal from certain IP addresses or IP address ranges, go to IBM Storage Protect for Cloud and navigate to Administration > Security to configure the Trusted IP address settings. For details, refer to the Enable Trusted IP Address Settings section in the IBM Storage Protect for Cloud user guide.
