Client software packages

- Go to https://www-945.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/options.
- Type IBM Cloud Pak for Data System in the Product Selector field of the Find Product section.
- From Installed version, select IPS_11.0 and click continue.
- Click the product version that you want to install. A list of available packages is displayed. The client package names have the format ips-platformclient-version.archive, where platform is a client operating system type, version is a Netezza® software release version, and archive is the file compression format for the client.
- Download the packages you need.
If you download client kits, use or create a new, empty directory.

The Netezza Performance Server client kits are designed to run on the proprietary hardware architecture for the vendor. For example, the AIX, HP-UX, and Solaris clients are intended for the proprietary RISC architecture. The Linux client is intended for RedHat or SUSE on the 32-bit Intel architecture.
