Creating notification message templates

You create notification message templates to define notifications.

Note: Starting from Maximo® Application Suite 9.0 and Maximo Manage 9.0, all work centers are no longer available. The documentation provided for work centers applies only to Maximo Manage 8.7 and earlier versions. Try using Maximo Mobile, for more information see Maximo Mobile Overview.

Procedure

  1. Start Maximo Manage.
  2. In the Notifications application, select the Notification Message Template.
  3. Select New Row.
  4. In the Notification Template field, enter a name and description for the notification template.
  5. Select the Message Properties or Message Text notification message type, and specify the properties or text to include in the notification.
    The notification message type indicates the content of the messages to be sent as part of the notification.
    Option Description
    Message Properties Work Center notifications.

    For example, assetnum,description,status
    Message Text Email or SMS notifications

    For example, The following asset :assetnum has changed its status to :status.
  6. Save your changes.
