Getting started with integration runtime management
Get started with integration runtime management, your command center for orchestrating integrations across cloud and on-premises environments. You can securely deploy, monitor, and scale runtimes wherever your business needs them.
Before you begin
- You must have a subscription to the specific capability for which you want to manage runtimes. For example, to work with App Connect runtimes, you need a subscription to the App Connect capability. For more information, see Administering environments and capabilities.
- You must have basic knowledge about the capability that you intend to use with runtimes. For example, if you want to use an edge runtime, then you must know how to work with webMethods Integration.
About this task
The following table outlines how the service-specific roles and subscription-specific roles correspond to the capability-specific roles within Integration runtime management.

The integration runtime management capability is
available in three tiers. By default, the Standalone tier is provisioned. To access other runtime
capabilities, you can subscribe to the appropriate tier. The following table outlines the
capabilities available in each tier.
