Db2 application provisioning, development, and deployment (DevOps) solutions

Application developers can use these solutions to use DevOps practices to provision, develop, test, and deploy Db2 for z/OS® database applications, with automation based on business rules.

With these solutions, you can enable application developers to provision a database schema with or without data on development and test environments, and use templates to roll out the database schema changes for the application changes to one or more target environments in parallel. You can also enable them to use continuous integration and continuous delivery for application changes on the Db2 for z/OS platform.

Some capabilities in these solutions require other IBM offerings, such as Db2 DevOps Experience for z/OS, UrbanCode® Deploy (UCD), and z/OS Management Facility (z/OSMF). These solutions are delivered in separate parts that support different user roles and activities.
