Integrate IBM Controller on Cloud with Planning Analytics on Cloud
If you have both an IBM® Controller on Cloud subscription and an IBM Planning Analytics on Cloud subscription, you can integrate the Financial Analytic Publisher component of your IBM Controller on Cloud environment into your Planning Analytics on Cloud environment.
- The name of the Planning Analytics on Cloud environment to be integrated with your IBM Controller on Cloud environment. For example, <your_enterprise-name>.planning-analytics.ibmcloud.com.
- The Administrator email address registered with IBMid.
- The name that you want to use for the TM1 Server that is used to publish data from Controller.
- Dates on which IBM can do the integration work. Your system is unavailable during the
integration work so it must be planned well in advance.Note: Upgrade of your IBM Controller on Cloud and Planning Analytics on Cloud environments may be required for the integration.
When IBM does the initial integration of your Controller and Planning Analytics on Cloud environments, you must do some additional configuration (refer to the sub-topics below for more information) in Cognos Administration, Controller, and Financial Analytic Publisher client to complete the integration. You must define the users that will have access to both Controller and Planning Analytics on Cloud environments.
Restrictions
The integration is between Controller and your Planning Analytics production environment.
The ability to integrate your IBM Controller on Cloud environment into your Planning Analytics on Cloud environment depends on the data center location of your organization's subscription. Contact IBM to find out whether you can integrate your environments.
In your integrated environment, the ability to use IBM Cognos Analytics reporting is determined by your subscription.
