To simplify the transition from locally stored proxy passwords to password exit, if password exit has been set for a user, the password exit will be used, even if a locally stored password is still present. IBM Sterling Integrated File Agent
- With this release Connect:Direct for Microsoft Windows introduces support for Integrated File Agent as a component of Connect:Direct Windows (selectable during installation). Integrated File Agent is simpler to install, configure and operate than its predecessor, Standalone File Agent. Use Connect:Direct Web Services 6.2 UI or later to configure Integrated File Agent. For more information, refer to Connect:Direct File Agent initparms and File Agent Parameters.
  Note:
  - Integrated File Agent feature is disabled by default. In silent installation, command line argument "ADDLOCAL=ALL" will include Integrated File Agent. For more information, refer to Sterling Connect:Direct File Agent Overview document.
- When Integrated File Agent is installed, if Secure+ .Local record has not already been assigned a key certificate, an automatically generated self-signed certificate is assigned to Secure+'s .Local record. For more information, refer to Self-signed Certificate for Integrated File Agent.
- Support for process library and external stat logging has been extended. For more information, refer to Sterling Connect:Direct File Agent Overview.
PostgreSQL has been updated to version 13, so on upgrade, the system will restart as drivers are being updated.
The default installation folder location has changed:

Command Line Interface (Direct.exe) no longer truncates output to 128 characters per lines, displaying complete file names, SYSOPTS or certificate information by default now.
Connect:Direct Requester will be deprecated in the next major release of Connect:Direct for Microsoft Windows. IBM Sterling Connect:Direct Web Services will be its replacement.
