Blueworks Live IQ data usage and privacy

Blueworks Live IQ adheres to IBM's policies regarding AI usage within its products to keep your data secure.

Important:
  • Blueworks Live IQ (technology preview) is meant to provide analysis and recommendations only, and it does not modify your process blueprint or implement any changes directly.
  • While it strives for accuracy, generative AI might produce occasional inaccuracies. Exercise caution and make sure that you review and validate recommendations from Blueworks Live IQ with relevant stakeholders before you apply them.

Data handling

Important: Blueworks Live IQ uses your process data only as context for the active session.

Your process data is not used to train the AI model.

Conversations that you conduct with Blueworks Live IQ within the Blueworks Live AI assistant chat are logged to improve the product experience. This data is used to understand usage patterns and improve Blueworks Live IQ performance and results.

Sensitive internal data is not exposed outside of your account.

Chat history

Blueworks Live IQ retains your chat history across sessions for each process you interacted with. Your messages remain available unless you select Restart conversation Restart icon. When you restart, your entire chat history for that process is permanently cleared and cannot be recovered. Before you restart a conversation, make sure that you save or copy any information that you want to keep.

Data accessible to Blueworks Live IQ

Blueworks Live IQ can read:
  • BPMN structure, including activities, events, gateways, and roles.
  • Process metadata, including (when available) cycle times, costs, participants, and custom properties.

AI model

Blueworks Live IQ is based on the granite-4-h-small model. Review the IBM foundation models and Granite 4.0 documentation to know more about model capabilities. You can also check the IBM Granite 4.0 release announcement for a comprehensive overview.

Security

Data that is processed by Blueworks Live IQ is treated in the same way as other Blueworks Live data. For more information about deployments, data storage, and security policies, see Blueworks Live deployment options and IBM Blueworks Live security description.
