To uninstall Installation Manager manually:

  1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel, and then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  2. Select the entry for IBM Installation Manager and click Remove

About this task

Proxy servers enable connections to remote servers from behind a firewall. You can set preferences for proxy servers in Installation Manager or in a response file. After the proxy server is enabled, the proxy server is used for all server communications.
