May 2026
- End-of-life for legacy protocols for B2Bi SaaS
- With a view to strengthening security in IBM Sterling B2B Integration SaaS, the support for the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and AS2 over HTTP/1.0 protocols has been revoked with immediate effect. Consequently, the application no longer permits to provision the creation of new FTP-based or HTTP/1.0-based connections or trading partners. All existing connections adhering to these protocols must be migrated to one of the following secure alternatives: Applicability Statement 2 (AS2), Odette File Transfer Protocol (OFTP), or Secured File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).
For more information, see FAQs for FTP and HTTP/1.0 deprecation.
