Configuring the Graphical Explorer widget
Use the Graphical Explorer widget to visualize the relationships between your business objects.
The Graphical Explorer widget shows a representation of the item currently selected in the Detail widget, and the source and target items of its relationships. It provides a graphical representation of how your business objects are interrelated. Preferences specify the depth of the relationships displayed. If there are more relationships than can be displayed in the specified depth, an arrow indicates that there are more items to view before or after what is currently displayed.
You can specify the appearance of the instance of the Graphical Explorer widget that you are using from the Preferences window. Use this window to set features such as orientation, how items are represented, and the style and color of lines that represent relationships.
- Click anywhere on the tab for the page containing the Graphical Explorer widget that you want to edit. An options menu is displayed.
- Select Edit Page. You are now in editing mode. When you have completed your changes, click Finish.
Open the Display Settings window by clicking the down arrow in the widget title bar and selecting Edit settings from the menu.
