As IBM Support Insights continues to evolve, here are the details of the application's current progress.

Fixed issues and upgrades

Following is a list of improvements and new implementations in the application.

Notification settings

  • Users can now subscribe to coverage-related e-mail notifications, allowing them to be alerted of any expiration events requiring attention and remediation.
  • The coverage alert levels available for selection allow users to choose a combination of levels that interest them the most, with the multi-choice options being High, Medium and Low.
  • The frequency of the coverage alert e-mail notifications is customizable and can be tailored to the needs of the specific user and client, with the available choices being quarterly, monthly or weekly.

Pro client functionalities

  • The Case metrics page of IBM Support Insights now has a Case analysis tab as part of the application's Pro offering.
  • The new Case analysis tab provides users with a detailed deep dive into their historical support experience.

General improvements

  • Across the application, the coverage status and coverage expires columns are now renamed to HW coverage status and HW coverage expires, in anticipation of the implementation of software-related asset data points.
  • The different pages and sections within the application now each have their own respective URL, making it easier for users to save or share specific target content.
  • The Case history table in the Case metrics section of the application now has filtering capabilities.
  • An additional Global filtering data point is added - the Expert care filter allows users to focus the application on their premium contract assets.

Known issues and limitations

Following is a list of usability constraints or challenges in the current version of the application.

Risks & Recommendations - Security & Hardware lifecycle The asset details table filtering capability does not allow for editing filters. Remove your current filter and apply a new one.
Risks & Recommendations - Security The Avg CVSS per alert column is present multiple times in the asset details table. To be fixed in a future release.
Risks & Recommendations - Hardware lifecycle The chart's months distribution is misaligned visually. To be fixed in a future release.
