Nondefault installation
The nondefault installation installs the compiler to a directory other than the default.
Use this procedure if any of the nondefault installation scenarios described in Determining the installation procedure applies.
If you do not know which product the package belongs to, you can query for the summary of an RPM or a dpkg package.
On SLES and RHEL
In these scenarios, you can use the rpm utility to install the compiler
packages.
On Ubuntu
In this scenario, you can use the dpkg and the
chroot utilities to install the compiler
packages.
