Synchronizing the Web and SIP deployment descriptors

For SIP projects targeted to the WebSphere Application Server, you can manually trigger synchronization of the Web deployment descriptor in your converged SIP/HTTP project with the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) deployment descriptor (sip.xml).

Procedure

  1. In the Enterprise Explorer view, right-click the sip.xml file (in the WebContent/WEB-INF directory).
  2. Click SIP Operations > Update web.xml.

Results

The web.xml file is updated with the SIP servlet metadata from the sip.xml file.
