Installation and configuration log locations on Windows
Content Manager Enterprise Edition installation and configuration logs vary by action.
On the reference computer, the installation and configuration logs are in the IBMCMREPO\CMVersionFolder\cmcfgmgr\log\ directory and with the following names in the IBMCMREPO\CMVersionFolder\cmcfgmgr\log\hostname directory:
- cfgactions.log
- Log for connecting to target hosts, checking software requirements, validating product components, creating shortcuts, and stopping background services.
- cmcfgmgr.log
- Log for validating the input and environment settings when running the configuration manager.
- cmconfig.log
- Log for configuring Content Manager Enterprise Edition components.
- cmfpconfig.log
- Log for configuring Content Manager Enterprise Edition components in a fix pack update.
- cmfpinstall.log
- Log for copying Content Manager Enterprise Edition component files to IBMCMROOT during a fix pack update.
- cmfpunconfig.log
- Log for un-configuring Content Manager Enterprise Edition components to the previous Content Manager Enterprise Edition level.
- cminstall.log
- Log for copying Content Manager Enterprise Edition component files to IBMCMROOT.
- cmunconfig.log
- Log for un-configuring Content Manager Enterprise Edition components.
- cmuninstall.log
- Log for uninstalling Content Manager Enterprise Edition components.
- fpuninstall.log
- Log for uninstalling Content Manager Enterprise Edition components to the previous level in a fix pack uninstallation
The cmconfig.log, cminstall.log, cmunconfig.log, cmunconfig.log files are originally created in the IBMCMROOT\log directory in the target computers, and are copied to the IBMCMREPO\CMVersionFolder\cmcfgmgr\log\ directory on the reference computer.
Update logs are in the IBMCMROOT\fixpack\cm\version\log directory.
