About IBM Sterling Transaction Manager and Catalog Manager

IBM Sterling Transaction Manager and Catalog Manager help sponsor companies enforce conformity to non-EDI enabled partners by providing a simple, easy to use, web-based tool – connecting to back end systems. Eliminating all manual documents, reducing costs and resources, and increasing data quality and response time. A sponsor company is the company that purchases DCS. The sponsor company works with their customer, suppliers, or both.

IBM Sterling Supplier Transaction Manager is electronic alternative to the inefficient manual B2B transactions (PO acknowledgment, ASN, and Invoice) with your non-EDI enabled suppliers.

IBM Sterling Customer Transaction Manager digitizes the sales order process with non-EDI enabled customers by automating POs to backend systems.

IBM Sterling Catalog Manager digitizes manual product catalogs to ensure that the contained product information is accurate and updated.

A sponsor company must have a mailbox on IBM network, either VAN (B2Bi SaaS VAN), Managed Services (B2Bi SaaS Essentials or Standard), or Managed Services (B2Bi SaaS Premium). It also requires entitlement for enough Kilo Characters (KCs) or documents to cover the volume of documents exchanged.
