Sterling eInvoicing supports using TrustWeaver-Archiving for storing the signed FatturaPA on behalf of the Supplier and Buyer and custom archiving as zip package.

TrustWeaver archiving

The signed FatturaPA and the Delivery Receipt/Failed Delivery Notice must be archived for legal compliance.

Before using TrustWeaver-Archiving, there must be a commercial agreement between the customer and TrustWeaver. Upon subscribing to TrustWeaver-Archiving, the customer receives an email containing the URL and credentials to log on to the TrustWeaver Archive Portal to view archived documents.

The TrustWeaver portal can only be used to search for, display, and download einvoices. Profile settings cannot be changed via the portal.

When Sterling eInvoicing is used only for archiving and is not used for signing, the supplier or buyer must send the delivery notice for archiving along with the signed FatturaPA.

The following fields must be set when creating the rules for archiving:
  • eInvSignedDocFileMask
  • eInvSignedDetailFileMask
  • eInvUnsignedInvoiceFilemask
  • DocumentFormat
  • SignatureFormat
  • SupTWAccountName (if archiving is done in Supplier's TrustWeaver-Archiving account)
Notes:
  • Delivery Notice is always shown as "Delivery Receipt" in TrustWeaver-Archiving irrespective of whether the delivery is failed or successful.
  • The file mask values that you set must be unique.
  • DocumentFormat and SignatureFormat should be set based on the signature (XAdES or CAdES) used to sign the Invoice:
    • If XAdES signature is used, set, DocumentFormat and SignatureFormat to FATTURAPA.
    • If CAdES signature is used, set DocumentFormat to OTHER and SignatureFormat to PKCS7.
    • If the invoice is unsigned, set DocumentFormat to FATTURAPA and SignatureFormat to UNSIGNED.

When Sterling eInvoicing is used for archiving along with signing, Sterling eInvoicing adds Sdi-Id as one of the custom properties in TrustWeaver-Archiving.

Sterling eInvoicing also publishes a field eInvExtraInfo1 in InFlight. This field contains the TrustWeaver Archive Reference Number, which can be shared with the customer and can be used to search for relevant documents in TrustWeaver-Archiving.
