Uploading my own PGP public key of the variant type

A variant PGP key has a different PGP key that is uploaded in the CTE and production environments.

Before you begin

Select the Uses a different PGP key in CTE and production checkbox. For more information, see Creating PGP key pairs.

About this task

In an everyday business scenario, you might want to upload a different version of the PGP key in CTE and in the production environments. If such a need arises, use a variant PGP key. If you are creating a PGP key, and have selected the Upload my PGP public key option, use the information that is described here. You can access the PGP Key details page after clicking Create PGP key.

Procedure

  1. From the side navigation menu, select Company resources > Keys and certificates. Then, on the PGP key details page, click Select to browse for and select your own PGP public key.
  2. Provide a description for the key by using the Change description field.
  3. Click Upload.
