Trading partner resources
You can use the Trading partner resources page to access and use the numerous features that Configuration Hub provides you for your trading partners. You can configure, add, associate, share, edit, or delete connections, PGP keys, and SSL certificates with your trading partners.
Overview
You can create and manage trading partner resources from the Trading partner resources tab.
Connections
The Connections tab contains the following information:
- Status
- It displays the status of each connection. Possible statuses are Final,
Work in progress, Blocked, or
Error.
If the status is set to Error, see Deleted or missing keys of connections
- Connection name
- The name of each connection.
- Owned by
- It displays a list of the names of the user who owns the connection.
- Partner name
- It displays the name of the trading partner company or trading partner business.
- Protocol
- It displays the protocol that is used for each connection.
- Direction
- Indicates whether the connection is set up as a sending direction or as a receiving direction.
- Connection type
- It indicates whether the connection is private or public.
If your connection is of the hybrid type, the Connection type field displays the hybrid icon.
- Filter
- Filters the connections according to the following options:
- Business aliases (only the customer type of business aliases)
- Protocols (both API and HTTPS protocols)
- Partner company
- Partner business
- Direction of data transfer for the connection (sending or receiving)
- Overflow (Action options) menu
- You can click the Action options menu to edit, lock, and delete, and deactivate functions.
- Hybrid
- The hybrid icon indicates a hybrid connection.

SSL certificates
The SSL certificates tab contains the following information:
- Status
- It displays the status of each connection. Possible statuses are Final and Work in progress.
- Name
- The name of your SSL certificate.
- Owned by
- It displays a list of the names of the user who owns or uploads the certificate.
- Partner name
- It displays the name of the trading partner company or trading partner business.
- Versions
- It indicates the versions of the certificate that is deployed to the CTE and production environments.
- Last modified
- It displays the date on which the certificates were updated.
- Expiration date
- It displays the date on which the certificates expire and need to be renewed.
- Filter
- Filters the connections according to the following options:
- Business aliases (only the customer type of business aliases)
- Partner company
- Partner business
- Overflow (Action options) menu
- You can click the Action options menu to edit, lock, and delete functions.
- Flag
- A flag icon indicates that a different certificate is deployed to the CTE and production environments.
- Download
- You can click this icon to download the certificate.

PGP keys
The PGP keys tab contains the following information:
- Status
- It displays the status of your PGP key. Possible statuses are Final and Work in progress.
- Name
- It displays the name of your PGP key.
- Owned by
- It displays a list of the names of the user who owns the key.
- Partner name
- It displays the name of the trading partner company or trading partner business that is associated with the PGP key.
- Versions
- It indicates the versions of the certificate that is deployed to the CTE and production environments.
- Last modified
- It displays the date on which the keys were updated.
- Expiration date
- It displays the date on which the keys expire and need to be renewed.
- Filter
- Filters the connections according to the following options:
- Business aliases (only the customer type of the business aliases)
- Compliance status (whether the keys are compliant, noncompliant, or the compliance status is not known)
- Partner company
- Partner business
- Overflow (Action options) menu
- You can click the Action options menu to edit, lock, and compare functions.
- Shareable
- The shareable icon indicates whether the keys are shareable ones and whether they are shared with the associated trading partner.
- Download
- You can click this icon to download the keys.
