To customize your IBM Streams service instance, you must configure various items before you provision the instance.
Provisioning Streams
After the IBM Streams service is installed, you must provision a Streams service instance before you can process streaming data. Provisioning the Streams service instance creates and starts a Streams instance and a build service. You can provision multiple service instances for Streams.
Customizing your Streams application resource
You can customize the resources that are used by your application before or after you provision an IBM Streams instance.
Managing Streams
On the Instances tab, you can view details about the IBM Streams service instance, edit or delete the service instance, or manage access to the service instance.
Backing up and restoring Streams
The IBM Streams service is backed up and restored as part of IBM Cloud Pak for Data. Disaster recovery for the Streams service is configured as part of disaster recovery for Cloud Pak for Data.
