Managing external applications
The External applications page displays the external applications that you can integrate with Event Endpoint Management.
To access the External applications page:
- Log in to the Event Endpoint Management UI.
- In the navigation pane, click Manage > External applications.
The page displays a tile for the integration with IBM API Connect Developer Portal 12.1.1 or later.
IBM API Connect Developer Portal
IBM API Connect Developer Portal is a web-based, self-service portal that enables an organization to securely expose APIs to external developers, partners, and other consumers for use in building their own applications on their platforms.
The tile shows the connection status between Event Endpoint Management and Developer Portal:
- If Event Endpoint Management is configured to interact with the Developer Portal, the Endpoint URL of the Developer Portal is displayed.
- If Event Endpoint Management is not configured to interact with the Developer Portal, a No configuration message is displayed, indicating that the Developer Portal is not configured.

Adding Developer Portal
To add Developer Portal as an external application, complete the following instructions.
Important: You must have the admin user role to add
an external application.
Add the API Connect and Developer Portal capabilities on the same tenant and in the same region as Event Endpoint Management.
