Step 8: Run the installation verification program

A sample job, ASMWTIVP, is provided to verify that the product has installed correctly. This job carries out the following functions:

Assembles test sample ASMTSAMP
Link edits test sample ASMTSAMP
Disassembles test module ASMTSAMP
Create language extraction file

Edit and submit sample job ASMWTIVP. Consult the instructions in the sample job for more information. ASMWTIVP uses TSO BATCH to carry out its functions.

Expected Return Codes and Messages: This should issue a return code of zero and no error messages.
