HLASM Toolkit Feature Installation and Customization Guide

This chapter describes the installation method and the step-by-step procedures to install and to activate the functions of HLASM Toolkit Feature.

Please note the following:
  • HLASM Toolkit Feature must be installed into the same SMP/E environment as High Level Assembler.
  • Sample jobs have been provided to help perform some or all of the installation tasks. The SMP/E jobs assume that all DDDEF entries required for SMP/E execution have been defined in the appropriate zones.
  • The SMP/E dialogs may be used instead of the sample jobs to accomplish the SMP/E installation steps.
