This section lists all compatible versions of companion software for each version of IBM® watsonx Code Assistant™ for Z.

You can download the installable for the latest version of watsonx Code Assistant for Z from the following location: Software Downloads.

Note: The + sign after a version number indicates that the support extends to increments of the patch version number. For example, in 3.2.2+, the + sign indicates that support extends from patch 2 (3.2.2) up to patch 9 (3.2.9).

  • If you have installed the IBM Z Open Editor and Zowe Explorer extensions from the IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z product package, then these prerequisites will likely already be installed. If not, proceed to install and configure them before continuing.
  • *IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z version 2.8.0+ does not require the IBM watsonx Code Assistant core.
