Product search

You can search for any product in the catalog and all the related information about the product by using the application.

You can scan the SKU or the serial number to search for a product. If the SKU or serial number of the product is not available to scan, you can type in the keywords to find the product.

Note: You must have a catalog index server set up to search for a product by using a keyword.

You can look up the inventory to find out the real-time availability of a product for sale in a store.

Product search takes you to the Product search results page if multiple products match the search criteria or the Product details page if the search returns a single product. The Product details page displays the inventory availability for each delivery option, namely, Available in store, Available to ship, and Available for pickup. You can also view product variants, its description, and any related products. Additionally, with the appropriate permissions, you can see more details about the product from the Inventory details page. You can view details such as quantity of the product available at all locations in the store, on-hand inventory details.

Note: You can also search for products globally from any page by clicking the search icon on the status bar and selecting Product as the search type.
