Defining conditions
You define and maintain conditions to control branching and decision-making in order processing workflows. As business rules, data requirements, and process flows change, conditions may be created, updated, or removed to reflect current processing needs and to manage the impact of those changes across workflows and lifecycle states.
Managing conditions includes maintaining decision logic, understanding where conditions are reused, and reviewing which pipelines, transactions, and statuses reference a condition. Because a single condition may affect multiple processing paths, reviewing affected entities before making changes helps keep process flow behavior consistent and predictable.
Use these procedures to create conditions, modify existing logic, define advanced XML conditions, review condition usage to assess configuration impact, and delete conditions that are no longer needed.
