Modifying conditions

Modify conditions to update existing rules when business requirements, data, or process logic change. This approach helps keep workflows accurate without creating new conditions from scratch.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. From the side navigation menu, select Configuration > Application platform > Process modeling.
  3. In the process modeling area, to open the required process type, click the component.
    The system displays the Service definitions list in the side panel.
  4. Click the Conditions icon Conditions icon that looks like a small black diamond inside of a larger diamond outline.
    The system displays the Conditions list in the side panel.
  5. From the Conditions list, select the group and then the condition that you want to modify.
  6. Optional: View the entities that are affected by this condition or condition types to understand which pipelines and determination rules reference it. Review this information to assess the impact of updating the condition before you save your changes, then click Close.
    The system displays lists of pipelines, enterprises for the pipeline determination rules, monitor rule pipelines, statuses, events, and services.
  7. Modify the condition in one of the following ways.
    • Edit the condition name.
    • Change the condition group.
    • Change the condition type to Status and use the Condition builder to set up a condition value.
    • Change the condition type to Dynamic and specify the custom name and value properties.
  8. When you have finished making modifications, click Save.
